Mama Ameera

those of u who know me know what a “character” my mom is..this post is dedicated to her and her MANY quirks..i will make this a monthly post where i update u on her latest adventures but before all the fun starts i have an assigment for u :p based on what u read here (and what u know already if u’ve met her) help me come up with a new name as Mama Ameera doesn’t do her justice

famous incidents:

• playing tag at 3 am with me (she was chasing me up and down the stairs in and out of our bedrooms) and when i was finally safe in my room she storms in only to give me a big: P~~~~~~~
• my dad was trying to convince me not to get a new car so he can get mama a rolls and mama says “etyeebli rolls o alex esoogha?? la maby etha etyeebly rolls etyeebli sayeg engilaaaaizyy” and yes she said it like that engilaaizy :P
• saying “Barf” to any salfa she finds boring/maleeqa
• constatnly using the “what part of shesamoona do you not understand?” and yes she says shesamoona instead of an actualy word (she’s new to the concept :P)
• she cheers the Red Sox just because she loves Boston
• mama usually asks me how to spell certain words while she’s texting and just so she doesn’t confuse certain words she uses the A for apple, B for bear..one day i’m spelling a word and the letter J comes up and she goes “J for Jay Leno?” hehehe cuuuuuute
• she sleeps with a teddy bear
• this next part is hard to explain but i’ll try..u know how u hi-5 ppl? well my mom and i have this thing where we have our hands face each other wiggling our fingers and going “Tiissss”
• she MADE me watch “8 Mile” because she luvs Eminem
• her two fav songs are “its getting hot in here” by Nelly and ANYTHING by Usher
• she had her own e-mail account in 1999 but stopped using it when she found out i had her profile name under “Om-M7amad il 6agaga”
• she cries everytime Bambi’s mother dies
• she will drive to Rhode Island just so she can have her fav nutella crepes and will go on a roadtrip to NY just so she can go to Sushi Samba
• she sends random msgs while in class to cheer me up and is famous for starting her msgs with “wasup”

and there u have it ppl now help me out with creative names for Mama :)

Dr. Fawzeyah Al-Durai

i was just watching “serat el 7ub” on alrai tv and i just have to say that Dr. Fawzeyah Durai3 is a brave brave woman..i only caught the last 20 mins which was a segment about penis size and penis enlargment, the woman is amazing breaking down conventions and discussing contraversial issues every day..what i loved most about it is that she was mature and open minded about it, maintaining a professional manner throughout even when the doc she had on the show got a little nervous..i appluad u ya 3yoooooony

Famous Last Words

ok i’m supposed to be working but i’m too distracted i need to get it out of my system..i was recently watching Forget Paris, if u haven’t seen it then plz do its such an amazing movie..billy crystal is the leading man in this romantic comedy and i luv the whole movie especially that the main guy who “gets” the girl is not ur typical hunk-a-lunk..anywhooooo there’s a part in the movie where billy crystal talks about famous last words “never say famous last words because they could be” and by this he means ur typical “pice of cake” or “i’ll be right back” these words are jinxed..this got me thinking of “last words” so be creative ppl what do u want ur last words to be..i don’t want to be blasphemous or anything but forget religion for a bit and let me know what u want ur last words to be!

Hello world!

i wana say Tinks is back but who knows at this point! as some of u might know i have recently been a victim of identity theft (drama much? sooo much)..i don’t know who this person is or what i did to get on their bad side..all i have to say at this point is “u suck now f*** off”…u thought i was gona say something nice? well i’m sorry i don’t think being forgiving and at peace with people and all that jazz is gona make me feel better..i’m angry and i’m gona vent until i feel better :P

anywaaaay..on a brighter note i am now a wordpress fan! u know how they say disasters are really blessings in disguise? well i don’t exactly believe in this but i do believe that something good always comes out of these things and the good thing that has come out of this ordeal is: me switching to wordpress! and let me just say i wuuuuuuv wordpress..this sweet new community has welcomed me with open arms, mr wordpress has even honoured me with a cute little comment (isn’t he thoughtful?) so a big :P~~~~ goes out to whoever stole me identity and another :P goes out to blogger
